Form-in-Place Anaerobic |
 Pioneered by Loctite,
anaerobic gasketing technology has revolutionized the sealing of flanges in
the automotive industry, in the assembly of heavy equipment and in the
manufacture of various types of fluid power equipment.
Loctite® anaerobic gasketing materials remain liquid when exposed to air,
but cure when confined between mating flanges. Best suited for small gap
applications and rigid metal to metal assemblies.

REMOVABLE STRENGTH
Bolt reusability is important in maintenance and repair work.
Threadlockers with low to medium strength can be loosened
without damage to bolts with ordinary tools.
Threadlocker 242 - Removable Grade

Medium strength, general purpose.
Ideal for all nut and bolt applications. Especially
suited for 1/4" or larger fasteners. Removable with
hand tools.
Applications: Machine tools, presses, pumps,
compressors, mounting bolts, gearboxes.

2440 Threadlocker Primerless/Medium Strength
Medium strength. Ideal
for all nut and bolt applications.
Especially suited for 1/4" or larger

Fixtures rapidly without primers on inactive
surfaces such as stainless steel, zinc,
black oxide, cadmium or zinc phosphate.
